Design Philosophy Ayesha Depala's clothes are classic yet contemporary. Her specialty is without a doubt, eveningwear. Her passion is to create gorgeous, beautifully draped chiffon gowns and cocktail dresses. Details are prevalent in almost everything she designs. The Collection The Ayesha Depala collection this season consists mainly of the ever present black, white and bright vibrant colours such as fuschia, red, purple, cerise, pink and lilac. The general mood of the collection is relaxed elegance for the day, and 1950's Italian screen siren for the evening. Ayesha presents a beautifully finished day wear collection consisting of bias cut shirts and cool kurtis, and comfortable, elegant skirts and trousers in whites, beiges and creams, which keep you cool and chic even in these rising temperatures. The evening wear consists of carefully crafted and draped dresses, tops and skirts in vibrant colours, evoking memories of 1950's Italy, with Fellini and his screen godesses. The clothes are wispy, light and flowy, but above all, supremely elegant. These are contrasted with bead embellished lace corsets, worn with chiffon skirts or crepe trousers. Retail Stores Ayesha Depala retails from her signature store at the Ambawata Complex in New Delhi, and from her store in Dubai, which is in the process of moving to a new location. She also retails her haute couture clothing to private clients in London, Dubai and Norway. Ayesha is also in the process of retailing her brand within India itself, and is in the process of identifying selling points in all the metros.
