1989 I moved to Duelmen. Nevertheless I didn’t cut the contact to Haltern and I still
went to the musiciansschool. With the age of 10 I played the first time on an event.
I saw a big challange to play piano too. I did!
When I was 12, I appeared with a whole orchestra in ‘Seppenrade’. We were good so we got around 10 till 15 gigs over the year. My interests went to Michael Jackson and Phil Collins. I sequel them. I was inspired by many instruments all the time. I learned to play drums by a friend of mine. On 14 I got my first guitar. The ‘Ibanez’. So keyboard/piano was not the only one which I did learn. Guitar also! Years later I bought an Ibanez
acoustic-guitar. I visited the musiciansschool ‘Kilp’ for around 12 years of my life.
After that I had a little timeout with the instruments. But there was everytime the music at my site.
Turntable’izm ..
I bought many CDs. 1998 a friend of mine asked me if I want supply him with Djaying
for ‘Musicparc-Duelmen’. I wonder.. ‘I got this huge music knowledge’.. that is the chance ! Everything came automatically. I played there and everything worked fine. My interests went to the newest music. Over the years I was always getting the newest stuff. There was nothing that I missed.
1999 it was the first time I played on turntables. (Gemini PT-2000). My first 12" was LL Cool J - Doin it. I practiced one year. It was sad I got noone who could help me how to get a real job in a club. It was hard, so I sold the turntables again. I bought a KTM Motobike. Freestyle Motocross was my no1 fad. In the year 2001 I learn how to use Acid. I did a few remixes. Look at my phattest track the oldschool flava and enjoy. Im really proud of it. Download it at www.djsplit.com. 2003 I met Georgios Boskos Dj Greekster and Peter Nagy Dj Retap. I bought 2 Technics MK-1210 and a Vestax PMC-07 and learned around 3 hours each day. Retap and Greekster were very amazed of my music-knowledge and I joined their team. Since then we’re 3.
Deejay-career ..
We had a few gigs in some clubs. I organized a residentjob in the ‘angles club’. There we met a guy from an eventagency who cooperates with us till today. After that we do some guestbookings in the Kellys Club. Our next residentjob was there. In Spite the small footpoint of the Club we always show the people how to rock. On one of the last Events of the Kellys Club we met a guy called Hung. He bight us on Asian-Partys at Lighthouse21 (old Pornclub in Essen). A further Event was an Asian-Talent-Party at the 18 Karat in Bochum. A few several thousand of people was there. We did one of the best shows there. Also a Dimix-Blackmusic-Night at the Checkers Club in Duesseldorf was one of ours. At the Gigaparc in Duelmen my hometown was only one guestbooking till now in spite of the fact that it is nearly my neighbour.
I try do always an awesome presentation in the club. I offer a melange of Hip-Hop, RnB and Soul, Ragga, Dancehall and Oldschoolsets...
