Mixers come and go but Celo 'the Funkregulator' has stood the test of time. He has been on the scene since 1991 blazing clubs and the radio.
Having performed at the most popular clubs in our Nations Capital, i.e. The Ritz, DC Live, The DC Tunnel, Kilamanjara, Chicago and Platinum, just to name a few. Celo has become a trendsetter and break through DJ. Celo's vast career has also touched clubs outside of the DC market including ATL (Kiya's, Warehouse), NYC (Tunnel), Miami (Sex on the Beach) and New Orleans (Hara).
Also known to be a part of the 'Big Dawg Pitbulls' family, Celo is an annual attendee of the Impact Conference and Mix Show Power Summitt. Having one 1St place in the Mix and Scratch division of the Hip Hop Conference at Howard University, Celo gained much respect for local and upcoming DJ's who have given him credit for laying the tracks down for them.
Currently you can hear Celo on WPGC 95.5 (1998-Present; 1994-1996) in DC 12:00-12:30p.m. (Free lunch ride), 9:00p.m. -10:00 p.m. (Mix Show) Monday-Friday and 10:00p.m. -12:00a.m. (Mix Show) on Saturdays.
