

Shayan
Born in India, Shayan comes from the culturally rich Zoroastrian background. He discovered his gift for ma king music six years ago when he tragically lost his mother to cancer. Initially used as a vehicle to express his emotions, family and friends were amazed at how naturally music came to him and were impressed by the quality of songs he was producing – especially given the fact that he never had any formal training in the field.
His ability to play the piano, sing, write and produce songs seemed to come from an innate understanding of music. Sadly a year after his mother, Shayan lost his father to multiple sclerosis (MS) and promised to use his abilities to ma ke a difference and hasn’t loo ked bac k since.
With a BA in International Trade Practices and Procedures already in hand, Shayan returned to college and within four years got a MA in Music Business Management from Westminster University and studied about music production at the Alchemea College of Audio Engineering.
While studying, he was in regular contact with distributors, retailers and promoters, learning about the business, while constantly penning songs and writing music in preparation for his first album.
He also used his strong business initiative and set up an auction up on Ebay selling shares in himself. For £3000, investors would get a quarter percent of his life’s earnings. The feedbac k was phenomenal and he used the money to record demos and to research the industry. Once the demos were recorded he was advised to set up a company to safeguard the copyright.
Launching his label, FM Publishing gave Shayan the platform to seriously begin his music business. Despite having no production experience, an investor too k a chance and gave him the opportunity to record his album.
Five years in the ma king, ‘Deliverance’ is the result of Shayan’s passion and personal tragedy, which instigated his journey through music and his ability to communicate the album’s core messages of Belief; Creation; Deliverance; Individuality and Soul.
