RISHI RICH BIOGRAPHY

At the humble age of 17, Rishi Rich released the single "Bombay Jungle" followed by the smash hit album "Love 2 Love" which launched him into the spotlight as the talented producer behind 2 Kool. Following hot on the heels of it's success, 2 Kool released more hit remix albums including "Warm it up", "2 Kool Flava", "Bollywood Fever" and "Klassic Kuts" as well as the "Love 2 Love" series which saw 5 more chapters. Part 2 won an award for best selling remix album of 1996.
Touring over India with his unique sound, Rishi gained further knowledge in the skills and workings of the music business, recording with such high profile artists as Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurti.
1997 saw creative differences for 2 Kool and Rishi decided to go his own way. Teaming up with the talented soul singer Veronica, they formed the R&B sensation VR1. The collaboration culminated in 3 hit albums, "The Next Stage", "Love 2 Love Part 5" and "Voices", an opus of original material which took the market by storm.
Working with various artists is an enjoyable part of his work. He has exchanged vibes with many artists including Apache Indian, Bally Jagpal, B21, Sonu Nigham, Premi, Don Dee, Mentor, Saagar Malik, PDM and Amar.
Apache Indian's label, Sunset Records went on to sign VR1 for a short period, but after re-negotiation, the duo decided to part from the label and work on separate projects. Rishi Rich is currently producing Veronica's solo material as well as working on other mainstream material for the likes of Romina Johnson, Drizabone and Yana.
Don Dee's second album is also under construction with Rishi Rich contributing to the majority of the album's production. The album follows hot on the heels of "Pure Garage". A unique and innovative remix album set to storm the market, releasing around the same time as the B21 remix "Mahini", the soulful Bhangra tune which will set the standard for the summer.
He then went on to be signed by Bally Sagoo on Bally's Record label 'Ishq Records'. With his first solo album on the way, the industry is a waiting this.
He is now just finished the new single for Mis-teeq 'Roll On' and also was asked to do a track on the AliG soundtrack, which was also produced for Misteeq called 'This is how we do it'. Both tracks charted in the national charts at number 7 in June 2002.
Working with the likes of Mis -Teeq and top rnb groups in the UK. The talk on the street is that Rishi Rich has just begun…..
With an impressive past and a prosperous future, this unique producer is bound to stand the test of time and further establish himself as an innovator and leader in both the Asian and English market. Who knows what's next?
