Growing up in south London, I was heavily influenced by Hip-Hop, RnB.
It was when I met a friend who showed me how he dj's but also what is needed to be one of the best. It was then that I knew I had it in me to be a dj.
Music has always been a key part of my life, there has been a few dj's over the years that I have looked up to, such as the likes of Firin'
Squad, Da Ill Kidz and Tim Westwood. After many years of parting and enjoying music provided by these any many other dj's I felt that I had enough experience and knowledge of music to be come a dj.
I started off djing in 1997, It started as a passion and joy which I enjoyed. It was after playing at Bar Bollywood that I received recognition from a number of different promoters wanting me to become a resident dj for them. Since then I grew as a dj, learning more about the music industry as well as expanding my music skills by having my own radio show, hosting my own nights, as well as producing and remixing a number of tracks.
My main goal of being a dj is to always satisfy the crowd, but to also show them a new side to the music that there hearing, such as re-fixing tracks live and fusing different types of music together to provide a new experience. After all if you're not in it to please the crowd then you're in the wrong business. I have been on both sides the of the decks, being a clubber/raver as well as a dj, so I fully understand what it takes to get any night going as well as set it off with a bang
In the past few years I have become a resident dj for a number of different promoters, such as Showcase PR, Room 69, Above and Beyond, Infinity Media & UK-Raver. I have also played on a number of different pirate radios stations, such as Delight FM. I have also featured as a guest dj on BBC Radio channel 1xtra with G Child and now have my own show on Alive 92.5 FM every week.
I have also played at a number of the UK's top clubs, such as 10 Rooms, Rainforest Cafe, Rouge, Sway Bar, Ssh Rooms (London), Creations (Leicester), and Club Air (Birmingham) as well as featured at some of the biggest events in the UK such as The official Sean Paul After party at Hippodrome, Asian Ball (London), Summer Fiesta 2004 (Great Yarmouth), and Pure Silk summer reunion.
