SK is undoubtedly one of the most talented up and coming DJ’s within the urban music scene. Through a lot of hard work he has a residency on Wednesdays at 10 rooms which he has achieved due to his dedication to the genre and his incredible capacity for getting a crowd hyped and in a state of irate appreciation with his unique mixing technique.
This is backed by his ever growing following of clubbers and music lovers alike where he never fails to get them …… and will always keep it original with no two sets ever being the same..
His history is exceptional and his portfolio is a journey ranging from university radio and club nights, where he has gained unlimited experience and expertise of what we call the ‘urban music’ phenomenon today.
He started out at the age of 18 playing in Bars/Clubs like Denim Bar, Ormonds and, he is also part of SoundSerious who are based in North West London. SoundSerious are a collective of DJ’s and Artists who have the same aspirations. From there he went on to presenting on City University’s local and online radio station called Divercity radio. Through this radio show, he was spotted by a university events manager who immediately booked him for the biggest night at City University – Pressure Cooker. He then made a name for himself through residencies at the biggest student night Mist at Rainforest Café. From there, he has become one of the most sought after DJ’s within the club scene.
Through all his determination he finally got a chance to prove himself with an invitation to play at the official Damon Dash launch party. Having already played alongside the industries leading DJ’s – Da Firin Squad, Matt White, Ill Kidz, Masterstepz, Shortee Blitz, DJ Swing – to name a few, he still treats all nights the same. Whether there are 10 people or 1000 people, you can expect no less than 110% from him.
If he is not busy compiling new demos or at the studio he can be found across the UK with sets that have included The official Princes trust ATL after party - Attica, Damon Dash party – Rouge, Feel a lil Fresher – On Anon, Charity event – Café De Paris, SoundSerious at 10Room (resident).
