DJ Mr Vee
 Mr Vee is a well known favourite in and around the London club. Not only is he a dj but an entertainer, with his own style and technique which defines him from anyone else, hard working, dedicated to the music industry and always looking at ways of improving him self to satisfy the raving crowd. When out and about in the clubs Mr Vee plays a mixture RnB, Hip Hop, as well as some old and new Ragga Dancehall beats, complimented with his excellent skills of mixing, it’s an experience not to miss out on. Mr Vee has come a very long way since he first started djing; it was back in 1997 he was playing at Bar Bollywood that he received recognition from a number of different promoters wanting him to become a resident dj for them. Since then he has grown as a dj, learning more about the music industry as well as expanding his music skills by having his very own radio show, hosting a number of different nights, as well as producing and remixing a number of tracks. Mr Vee has preformed in some of London's most prestigious bars & night clubs. As of late promoters have called upon Mr Vee’s skills and his expertises, and have also booked him for events outside of London.
Look out in the future for Mr Vee, because there is no doubt that this young talented DJ that is a definitely super star in the makings. |

 I started off Mc’ing in 2001 influenced by Mc’s like Hyperactive, Neutrino and other Mc’s on local pirate radio stations. Since then I have progressed a lot lyrically and performance wise for example Mc’ing at raves has made my confidence grow a lot. I have performed at some of the top night clubs around London and the U.K also I have performed at Melas such as the famous London Mela and Zee Mega Mela. I have recently joined up with The Wass-up Allstars with a number of djs such as Mr Vee, we will soon be playin at all the big events and show a unique style of performing. My aim is to re-create the Garage/Asian scene to a whole new level using my initiative and creative democratic skills. At the moment I am working on some Bhangra tracks they should be coming out real soon and I hope to make the Bhangra Mc’ing industry a bit different & show them a unique style which has not been heard before. |

 Age: 21 “DJ Fricktion is no doubt one the most promising young DJs to come out of the closet over the past few years. With the most indescribable DJ technique mixing with 3 decks makes him so different and unique to other DJs. Check this ... the dude mixes CDs with over 50 tracks on them. You want a copy ? Then give him a buzz and check it out for yourself. Seeing and hearing is believing my friend !!” DJ Fricktion graced the decks at the tender age of 12 when he was still in high school. Now, 9 years on, at the age of 21, he has played at some of the biggest clubs in the country, bagged himself some of the most sought after residencies, played live to over 500,000 people on the BBC Asian Network and had many of his productions played on Radio 1, Radio 1xtra and BBC Asian Network. One of which made it to number 1 on the show and another which got him a record promo deal. He started out practicing a good 3 hours a day mixing house and slowly progressing to all different styles of garage (uk garage, vocal, underground, old school), RnB and Hip Hop. After a few years of practicing, he started working on his music production skills which to this date have paid off very significantly. Fricktion plays regularly on the DJ circuit in central london, birmingham and for many of the events at his university which he gained a residency by winning an annual DJ competition. He is the resident and only garage DJ for RED HOT who held their weekly events, Heat @ Sound each and every wednesday. Alongside this he plays in Birmingham for Shaanti and Funkshaan who won the UK Asian Music Award for Best Asian Underground/Fusion Act in 2003. He’s as unique as you will get !! Mixing from 2 decks and slowly evolving to 3 decks over the years, putting together mix CD's with over 60 tracks on them (MIXED LIVE OF COURSE), and performing outrageous turntablism scratching including silly things like scratching and doing 360 degree turns in the process….go figure !!! He is simply an artist with an eye for success. He has a very positive approach to DJing, from practicing for hours a day and gaining countless amounts of tricks up his sleeve to researching into the mental side such as building a night properly and assessing crowd reaction and responsiveness because to him, this all matters. When it comes down to producing music, Fricktion has remixed and produced over 25 tunes in past 2 years which have been very successful. Fricktion started producing music at the half way stage of his DJ. He has slowly gained the knowledge and expertise to produce professional tracks which have aired on Radio 1, BBC Asian Network and 1xtra. To prove his abilities of music production, Fricktion has produced remixes which have topped presenter charts and even won a remix competition to bag himself a record promo deal. This came about when the man behind the Bhangra Knights (Peugeot 206 Ad) Jules Spinner, held a competition on Adil Ray’s show on the BBC Asian Network to remix the William Orbit remake of Fascinating Rhythm. Fricktion submitted his remix and made it to the final, knocking out many other entrees and being back to back with Jay Dhabi from New York. The winner would be decided by the public, and in this case, Fricktion bagged 67% of the public vote therefore getting himself a somewhat deserved deal with Lowered Recordings to have his own remix pressed up and available on promo. Recently, Fricktion has been taken on by North America’s own, DJ Sanj who heard Fricktion’s tunes and decided to work with him and become his manager. Also Fricktion has got back into the studio recently, working on an official remix of Raghav’s next single release “No I” and also one for Visionary Underground who had huge support from Bobby and Nihal for their track – Eye Of The Storm.
